In the picture you will see the crash testing done with wild pigs to see if the cars are strong enough. As the wild pigs roam a lot on the roads of Germany, automakers need to check these test results as well. Obviously this car hasn’t passes the crash test as the dummy wild pigs have won against the speeding car.

The impact was so heavy that you can see the crushed bonnet of the car in the second picture. Although nothing seems to have happened to the driver, the heavy pig has smashed the front of the car completely.

So do the automakers still consider it a win as the driver is safe? As far as I know, people love their cars too much and wouldn’t risk buying it if they though a single pig could damage it so much with one high speed impact.

Germany’s ADAC automobile club has conducted crash tests on model wild boars to highlight the mounting risk of road accidents involving animals. It said 27 people died and 3,000 were injured last year in collisions with deer, boars, rabbits and wildcats. Hundreds of thousands of wild animals perish each year.

A total of 27 people died and 3,000 were injured in a quarter of a million collisions with wild animals on German roads in 2009, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of animals that perished in the process, ADAC, the largest automobile club in Europe, said on Tuesday.

It’s a growing problem because the population of wild boars in particular is increasing in Germany and Europe.

ADAC conducted some a spectacular crash test to measure the impact of vehicle collisions with a horde of wild boar at various speeds. It refrained from using real wild boars for the purpose, resorting instead to life-size models of a sow and her two chubby piglets.

“The collision with a horde of wild boars at 80 kilometers per hour (50 miles per hour) needn’t be life-threatening for the people inside the vehicle,” ADAC said in a statement after conducting the test. “The front of the vehicle was damaged but the passenger cell remained stable.”

Don’t Swerve to Avoid Animals

Unfortunately for the animals that stray onto roads, ADAC recommended that drivers do not swerve to avoid them. Trying to spare the animal’s life by shifting to the opposite lane entails the far greater danger of smashing into an oncoming car, it said.

“If a wild animal appears suddenly, apply the brakes as hard as possible, keep a tight grip on the steering wheel and stay in the lane,” ADAC said.

“In the worst case scenario, a collision with the animal has to be accepted.”

Driving slowly, as always, minimizes the risks, and dipping one’s headlights gives the animal a chance to run away. They get fixated by a strong light beam.

ADAC, the German Hunting Federation and the German Council on Traffic Safety on Tuesday called for an improved system of collating nationwide data on accidents involving wildlife so that troublespots could be identified more effectively, and the incidence of accidents can be reduced.

“Every 2.5 minutes a deer is run over and for rare species like wildcats, road accidents are the No. 1 cause of death,” said Wolfgang Bethe, the vice president of the hunting federation. “Animals don’t know the highway code, that’s why it’s more important than ever to inform drivers for the sake of wildlife conservation and road safety.”

Why Tantra? And how to apply it in your relationship.

Basic tips and techniques to merge sexuality with spirituality improve your relationship and enjoy lasting love and vitality in your life. Tantra originated in the Vedic writings in India over 3500 years ago and it is believed that the spoken practice was passed very selectively and secretly to highly evolve individuals for centuries prior to that.

Tantra in Sanskrit (one of the oldest languages on the planet) means “woven together” which Relates to the sacred union of the male and female energies. Using the sacred union of male and female by applying different techniques and a certain state of mind can be a great spiritual evolution. Sacred Sexuality is definitely a gateway to enter into higher consciousness and increasing the connection with the higher power. Its nature is accessing the most powerful ‘life giving’ ‘god like’ activity possible in a human form (which when preformed in a negative, abusive or unconscious way or Marley for genital satisfaction can harm and destroy the individuals).

There are many benefits, not only does the sexual experience itself becomes more enriched and satisfactionary but the state of full presence achieved by the exercise of tantric techniques brings an ecstatic experience and bliss to the explorer. Your beloved becomes a channel for you to connect to the higher realms.

Here are a few basic entry level techniques to engage in the magic of Tantra:

Deciding on doing tantric sex and actually having a date! Almost anything these days that you diarise, you have a better chance to complete. When you allocated the time in your very busy schedule, you have no excuses of no time for it and this is of even more importance when you have children as they demand a lot of your attention. You may think that the sexual experience looses the spontanousity, but remember when you come prepared with the right set of mind; you opt for a better and more profound experience. Canadian Health&Care Mall

Stick to your date even if you don’t feel like it. It is like going to gym, sometimes we don’t feel like and if we end up going we really feel proud of ourselves and we feel all the benefits of the workout. So don’t fall into a trap of the games that your mind plays with you (especially if there are sexual blockages due to trauma and abuse). Even if you feel tired, have a quick shower and do it anyway, you will be energised!

Create the right environment and even better, take it out of bed! The bed is used for sleeping and for most couples it becomes a place of mundane sex, so make it an adventure and explore other options (best is a comfortable mattress with pillows on the floor, where you have enough space to move around) Consciously prepare your space and make it sacred by having the intention to make it sacred in mind. Clear it from clutter, play nice soft tantric music, light candles and incense, place fresh flowers and anything else that warms your heart and makes you feel good and special (stones, special pictures, natural music instruments, nice pillows, etc).

Start with some movement and breathing exercise Movement is great as it makes your body generate energy, release stress and also calms the mind; it helps to bring you into the space and root you deeper into the experience. The best is shaking as this really gets your kundalini moving (Kundalini is the powerful creative sexual energy coiled like a sleeping serpent near the base of the spine. One of the goals in Tantra is to gently awaken this dormant energy in order to awaken consciousness and attain enlightenment). This is how you do the shake: stand up facing each other with your legs hip wide apart and your feet flat on the ground, slightly bend your knees and begin shaking from your abdomen (you can keep your eyes closed).

In the beginning you have to make the movement and almost force it on the body, but after a while, you begin to relax into it and let the movement happen to you and just tune in and observe it. Let the body do what it needs to without interfering or judging it.

You can use fast beat music in the background. Do it for at least 20 min. It is nice to move into dance after the shaking stage as it is than distributes the energy around the body and creates a lot of vital vibrations. After dancing, you can seat with your legs crossed facing each other where your knees slightly touching, you can hold hand and gaze into each other’s eyes.

This very simple exercise has a very profound effect as the eyes are the window to the soul. By simply looking at each other with no talking and no judging you form a very special communication channel. You drop all of your protection layers and boundaries which allows you to be vulnerable in the eyes of your beloved. Do it for at least 10 min. Next stage: woman sits on the man with her front of her body against the front of his (this is a very ancient tantric position called Yab Yun).

This posture allow both of you to seat up right with a straight back and face each other (it is also very good posture for intercourse). Now you can do circular breathing, where you breath into his mouth and fill him with air and then he breaths into your mouth and vice versa, it is very powerful connector that will sync your breathing and heart rate and will bring you into the now and ready to explore more. Boosted stamina and more acute perception in bed with viagra professional.

From there, you can start kissing and carry on loving each other.

Remember these few tips: It is very good to enjoy each other by taking turns to stroke each other, massage each other using nice oils, enjoy the moment and don’t rush into penetration.

Also, don’t rush into an orgasm and if you feel like you are reaching a climax too quickly, then stop breath and carry on pampering each other, you can carry on with penetration when you cool off a bit. Make it a habit to enjoy the process and don’t make the orgasm be you final goal. Slow down from the fast pace life we live and fully emerge in the moment.

Every year, during the LA Auto Show’s Design Challenge, major car companies design the cars of the future. Last year’s theme was the face of motor-racing come 2025. This year’s challenge – entitled Youthmobile 2030 – asked how drivers 16-23 years of age, raised on cell phones and Twitter, will emotionally connect to their cars in 2030?

Designers from Audi, GM, Honda, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota stepped up to answer that question. Their designs included cars which incorporated human DNA, one’s that could change both shape and color, and even cars which linked together to form a larger mass transit system.

But the challenge winner was Nissan’s V2G (vehicle-to-grid) concept. It’s kinda like the iPhone of electric cars (or the Droid if you swing that way). It uses an electrified highway much like cell phones use cell towers. The e-highway stays charged by using photovoltaic skins which cover all major urban structures.

Nissan itself would provide an affordable range of ‘grid’ access plans to meet a variety of lifestyles. But you can even jail-brake the car to go ‘off-grid’ in a variety of configurations. It can also flock with other vehicles to save money.

And when the car is no longer useful; recycle it! It’s made of a bioresin and carbon nanotube cloth. Using bacteria, the car would be devoured leaving only the cloth behind. The cloth could then be used for future models.

Whatever you want the V2G to do…there’s an app for that.

Nissan’s V2G concept competed against the following models:

Audi’s eOra and eSpira concepts respond to even the slightest body movements and gestures of the driver. The results are vehicles with unmatched agility and responsiveness. Of course, if you sneeze it could be fatal.

GM’s Car Hero concept makes driving a game. The driver plays against the car’s autonomous system to win complete control over the vehicle. You start out by entering your destination into a navigation app on your smart phone and pray your car is not K.A.R.R. from Knight Rider.

Honda’s Helix is part car and part cylon. The vehicle uses human DNA along with adaptive polymers to transform to the driver’s liking. It can change both in shape and color.

Mazda’s Souga is a custom built vehicle in which drivers use a virtual reality website -V Mazda – to design their car with the help of a design mentor. It’s like ordering a Dell computer online.

The Toyota LINK is a customizable, mass transit vehicle that links into other transportation ’social networks.’ You can actually download skins to personalize the exterior. The wheels, made of an electro-conductive material, convert friction into energy to charge the car’s battery.

Firefalls were waterfalls once created with fire in Yosemite National Park. A large fire was started atop Glacier Point and red-hot embers were pushed off a shear granite wall in the evening. It was Yosemite’s version of fireworks. Park officials learned it was a fire hazard in the 1960s and the practice was stopped.

These days you can see and photograph a natural firefall, but the conditions have to be just right. The first ingredient you need, oddly enough, is sunlight. You can’t capture this effect throughout the year, and the setting sun is only in the right position during the last two weeks of February, when it can shine a golden spotlight down the center of Yosemite Valley. Wintertime can bring clouds and storms that block the sunlight, so timing is everything.

The next ingredient you need for the firefall is water. The source of water comes from Horsetail Falls, a small waterfall atop El Capitan. The water basin that drains into Horsetail Falls is around 30 acres. The elevation at the top is 7569 ft. It is cold up there in February. It gets cold enough to freeze any snow or rain into a solid piece of ice. California also has dry years when waterfalls barely run. No water means no waterfall, and no firefall. Like I said, timing is everything, and this can be a rare sight.

The best pictures I have of the firefall were taken during the El Nino. It rained nonstop during the El Nino of ’95. Horsetail Falls was raging on February 22nd. The water seemed to fling off the shear face of El Capitan. The waterfall was also affected by strong winds at the top of the mountain. The wind created a fine mist that was being blown across El Capitan. The winds also cleared the sky of rain clouds as sunset was approaching. In short, prime firefall conditions.

El Capitan was falling into shadow when the sun began to disappear. I saw the last golden light of day zero in on Horsetail Falls. El Capitan went dark as the firefall began to glow. It looked like a giant waterfall of fire in a twilight sky. The clouds of mist from the water spray were glowing. The show lasted for five minutes. I had taken over 100 pictures by the time it was over. It looked like an electric neon fire. I had to remind myself that the firefall I had seen was real.

I drove back to Yosemite every winter after that memorable day. It was five years before I saw the firefall again. It was a most unexpected and unusual sight. It was a very cold year. The valley floor was covered with a few feet of snow. Horsetail Falls was frozen solid the morning I arrived. The falls began to dribble water down the face of El Capitan in the warm, midday sun. There was a small amount of water running by late afternoon. The winds picked up as I positioned myself along the Merced River. The water from the falls whipped up into a vapor. Horsetail Falls looked like a cloud creating new shapes before my eyes. The cloud became electric at sunset and a new firefall was created.

The firefall is another one of nature’s little miracles in Yosemite National Park. I understand why Ansel Adams spent a lifetime taking pictures there. My favorite quote is by Adams: “Sometimes I arrive just when God’s ready to have someone click the shutter.”

Picture Spot

The best location to view the firefall is slightly east of El Capitan near the base of the mountain. You need to be east of Horsetail Falls as the sun sets in the West. Sunlight shining through the waterfall creates the most brilliant colors. There is a small meadow that provides an opening in the forest at a perfect angle. The spot is in between Yosemite Lodge and El Capitan. Photographers gather in a large herd at the end of February. The easiest way to find that meadow is to look for a lot of cars parked along Northside Drive for no apparent reason. You have gone too far if you get to the large parking area directly in front of El Capitan.
